The Doll’s House is a tiny little house located on the grounds of Collingwood College at the corner of Cromwell Street and McCutcheon Way. It is the last tiny house left in Melbourne from ‘The Slums’ of Melbourne.
A group of grade 5/6 students from Collingwood College became very interested in the little house after completing a project about the history of Collingwood. They obtained a grant from City of Yarra council to set up The Dolls House as a museum.

Step back in time to Collingwood in the late 1800’s as you walk through the house filled with authentic furniture, artefacts and photos from the era.
This amazing project is almost complete and the students have worked really hard to restore it. They would like to let the community know about The Dolls House and invite people to have a look at it and their wonderful work. The house will be officially opened on Thursday, 9 October at 3pm by Dale Perichon, the college Principal. It will then be open during the Collingwood College Spring Fair for tours.
