Dear Parent/Guardians,
The Artists in Schools Program was very successful. Hellen Sky worked wonderfully with the students as the students engaged in many activities including movement, singing and playing instruments made out of recycled materials.
To conclude this program you are able to obtain a DVD which showcases all the activities which took place during this program. Each student has designed their own DVD cover.
It would be great if you could support the Primary Art Program as all funds from the sales will go to our school. (Yet to be decided on what exactly.)
If you would like a DVD you will need to put your child’s name (clearly) on an envelope with their Year Level, include a donation of ($2.00 or more would be appreciated,) and give the envelope to your child’s classroom teacher. I will give out the DVDs and covers during Art time.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Kari, India’s mum in Year Level 1/2 for editing the footage she tried to include as many students as possible to show a fair representation of the Program.
Owen, whose children Ella in Year Level 3/4 and Sebastian Year Level 1/2 was kind enough to transform the footage onto a DVD.
Jessica whose child is Connor in Year Level 1/2, thanking her for all the running around she did to help to make this DVD happen.
Please note that after we burned all the DVD’S we found that the starting credits did not always play on all computers and we needed to rewind to the start to see them.
