Below are some diary entries from some students who participated in the recent China Trip. Look out for more next week!

Day 1: We saw pandas at the Chengdu Panda Base, ranging from 2 months to 11 years old! We had a delicious banquet at the breeding centre, then made the 1 and a half hour drive to Dujiangyan Irregation System, which we learnt a lot about! The last few pictures are of sugar paintings! We are having an amazing time! – Kianna and Megan

Day 2: Sight seeing in the Bund area, a river cruise, Shanghai Circus and another walk around the Bund area to see the spectacular light show! – Charlotte

Day 3: We went shopping in Shanghai in the morning. It was fun and funny bargaining!! After that we had lunch. The food was delish!! Then we caught a train to Suzhou. We were taken on a tour of our sister school then met our host students. –Lucy
Day 4: Today was a great day because we got to experience what it’s like to be in a Chinese Maths class which Maths is not my favorite but it was great learning how they learn. After that we went on a walk to pingjiang road which was lots of fun and saw lots of little side shops and some strange things too… We had lunch there which was really nice and fun as well and after that we went to the Suzhou museum which was nice to see but also nice to just relax with wifi! Haha but overall it was a lovely day. – Charlie M

Day 5: This morning Dale set himself the mission to “footyfy” China in a football lesson in the morning. Then we were off to the other campus, where we had a very interesting discussion about friendship. As well as making new friends. Then we went to the Jin Ji lake to ride tanden bikes where we had a really good time and also went to Starbucks. Andres
Day 6: Today we went to a confucious temple right next to the school. We learnt how to print a copy of an engraved stone tablet, it was alot of fun. We then went to Pan Men Gardens which were very beautiful and traditional. Next we walked to a silk factory where we saw how silk is made. Charlie T and Harry :)
