Principal’s Message

WELCOME BACK

I would like to extend a warm welcome to our many new families and students who have joined our great school community. I would also welcome back the many familiar faces after a well deserved summer break.  School has started well and the levels of excitement and enthusiasm are amazing.

The school now has a new structure of operation which will clearly allow each of the primary and secondary sectors to operate more efficiently.  I welcome the following new teaching staff: Hannah Young, Theresa Powles, Sue Rundle, Lifei Zou, Stephanie Mousis and Campbell Gome.

IMPORTANT NOTICE – SCHOOL TIMES

School Times

***Classrooms will open their doors in the Primary School from either 8.41am or 8.43am (check with your teacher which time applies). This change is the result of negotiations associated with the new EBA being implemented at CC. To ease the possible congestion in the corridors the School library will be open and supervised each morning from 8am.  Students who attend early are welcome to attend the library area for quiet comfort and before school study.

Parents using the aftercare program are reminded that new conditions of attendance apply.

  • Enrolment must happen at least 2 days before first attendance.
  • Parents are expected to notify Aftercare Staff in advance when students are not attending on days booked.
  • Strict sign in/out rules apply.

POSITIONS VACANT

The College has the following positions vacant:

  • Teacher Aide  – Food Tech (Regular 4-8 hrs per week with no specific training required).
  • Casual Integration Aide (Training preferred but not essential).
  • Casual Office Assistance (Training provided).

Preference may be given to applicants who are seeking payment relief of fees and charges as part of payment plans or to parents seeking re-entry into work. Casual positions can be tailored to School hours.
