The China trip continues to be a resounding success. The students are still happily immersed in their wonderful life of travelling the vast plains of China. School experiences have continued to be amazing and the students have really created excellent connections with many Chinese locals. They have had three different Homestay experiences in three different schools and have really enjoyed sharing their lives with all these new families.
Dale and Lucy have found our Collingwood students an absolute delight to spend time with, totally impressed with their positive attitudes towards all aspects of this journey. They have developed a very close connection, making this adventure even more enjoyable as they share such a unique experience. The students, as well as Dale and Lucy, post pictures and comments about their experiences and the day’s events, which has been so wonderful for all of us at home. It is a journey that has been truly shared by all of us.
Our Collingwood students are now on the last leg of their journey. They will be returning this Saturday, 24th of October and ending what has been a six week experience of a lifetime. I am sure they will be happy to be reunited with family and friends and ready to share amazing anecdotes and stories of great moments. But they will also be realising that they have been extraordinarily lucky to have had such a fantastic opportunity as well.
I have included many photos on the link below this week of a variety of different events and experiences our travellers have enjoyed and look forward to adding highlights of their trip in next week’s E News.
